How Does It Help?
An Experimental Model For A Perpetually
Free-Flowing Cashless Economy

“We're all human, aren't we? Every human life is worth the same, and worth saving.”
~ J.K. Rowling,

Monetary income is the perfect deceiver of a man's true worth.”
~ Criss Jami

“Even though human life may be the most precious thing on earth, we always behave as if there were something of higher value than human life.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Recipro City Builds Confidence and Self-Esteem

We have been taught to assess our personal value by how much money we earn and how much stuff we have.

In reality, human value has nothing to do with money, and I intend for  Recipro City to help people to regain their self-worth, apart from money.

By offering a place for free creative expression to blossom, we intend to help people tap into their hidden talents and abilities.

This, in turn, raises self esteem, and gives a person more confidence.
"We were born to unite with our fellow men, and to join in community with the human race."
~ Cicero

“Healing is impossible in loneliness; it is the opposite of loneliness. Conviviality is healing. To be healed we must come with all the other creatures to the feast of Creation.”
~ Wendell Berry
“If man is to survive, he will have learned to take a delight in the essential differences between men and between cultures. He will learn that differences in ideas and attitudes are a delight, part of life's exciting variety, not something to fear.”
~ Gene Roddenberry

“Christian, Jew, Muslim, shaman, Zoroastrian, stone, ground, mountain, river, each has a secret way of being with the mystery, unique and not to be judged”
~ Rumi
Recipro City Builds Community

We need each other. It is my prayer that  all people find the value in focusing on how we are the same and let differences become celebrated.

We have been divided by religion, politics, skin color, race, economics, education, and even food.

When we finally remember that we are all the same and we are all connected  we can never again ignore the needs of our brothers and sisters.
Recipro City Celebrates Diversity

There is a richness in learning about the beliefs and culture of other nations. When we open to others with an interest in their heritage  our world expands while at the same time it feels smaller because we come to know that we all share the same joys and sorrows and struggles and triumphs, regardless of where we come from.

Recipro City principles can erase the lines of division beween us, so we can learn about, share, and enjoy the diversity of our human family.
“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature -- the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”
~ Rachel Carson

“The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As longs as this exists, and it certainly always will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles.”
― Anne Frank
Recipro City Lives in Harmony with Nature

Through a process of conversion, it s possible to find sustainable and harmonious ways of producing the energy we need ..

As we learn and discover we will share our experience and teach others what we learn.

We intend that our community be a natural haven where people may find peace and healing..
Recipro City Plans to Provide Healthy Organic Food  & Teach People How To Grow Their Own

People feel better about themselves, and feel their connection to the earth, when they are able to provide for themselves. Besides that, we also feel better physically. A healthy diet keeps us out of the doctors office and off prescription meds. It gives us power and stamina that the chemical GMO foods cannot supply.

Besides that.... gardening is just good for the soul, and having your hands in the dirt and working with plants, is a great healing stress reliever.

The long-term vision involves  being part of a community project where we are experimenting with a variety of growing methods including perma culture, raised bed, and verticle gardening. To have a greenhouse, with a biomass rocket stove heater ; as well as an auquapinics system, in a seperate building, is in the plans. Both, for growing food all year round.
“Odd as I am sure it will appear to some, I can think of no better form of personal involvement in the cure of the environment than that of gardening. A person who is growing a garden, if he is growing it organically, is improving a piece of the world. He is producing something to eat, which makes him somewhat independent of the grocery business, but he is also enlarging, for himself, the meaning of food and the pleasure of eating.”
~  Wendell Berry

“Seeds have the power to preserve species, to enhance cultural as well as genetic diversity, to counter economic monopoly and to check the advance of conformity on all its many fronts.”
~ Michael Pollan
Recipro City Provides For Those In Need

The Recipro City Store is intended to provide for people in need  by providing them with clothing, food and household items, regardless of their ability to pay money.

We could offer everything for free and leave it at that. Instead we choose to operate by the Law of Reciprocity and allow people to offer something of their own choosing, in reciprocation, so we can experience, first hand, how it creates a flow of abundance.
Recipro City Heals

Recipro City encourages and embraces a holistic way of living that brings healing to all facets of creation

“Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.”
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“For it is in giving that we receive.”
~ Francis of Assisi

“In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives. In the end, maybe it's wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices.”
~ Elizabeth Gilbert
“Alternative healing does not always offer a quick fix of a symptom, but it does offer a permanent healing that resonates beyond physical well-being. It creates a total uplift in attitude, enhanced spiritual awareness, and so much more that will change the way you appreciate life everyday. Embracing alternative healing by focusing on the cause and trusting the process as it unfolds will be a journey that can be trying or difficult at times, but it will always be extremely rewarding.”
~ Alice McCall
The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”
― Kurt Vonnegut
